Claudine Beron is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Initiate Government Solutions®, a woman-owned small business. Ms. Beron has 25+ years of management consulting experience, bringing creative and innovative solutions to federal healthcare customers including VA, HHS, and MHS.


Claudine has over a decade of experience with modernization and interoperability projects including VA’s Federal Health Information Exchange (FHIE), ONC Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN) prototype, MHS Single Sign-On (SSO), Veterans Informatics and Computing Infrastructure (VINCI), and now Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization (FEHRM).  


Ms. Beron is a co-founder and ad hoc leadership member of the HIMSS Federal Health Community.  She has held positions as chair of the Clinical and Business Intelligence Committee for HIMSS and VistA Software Alliance (VSA).

Initiate Government Solutions® prioritizes security in our business processes and practices through adoption and compliance to industry and customer standard guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure Personally Identified Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI), and other sensitive data are secured and protected. We provide annual training and certifications for our staff to maintain security practices and processes that must be followed, tracked, and audited to support the authorized use of PII, PHI, and other protected information for the critical services, applications, and systems that we support for our customers and business partners.

  • Home for Our Troops (HFOT) - A privately funded organization that builds mortgage-free, specially adapted homes nationwide for severely injured Veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives. 


  • Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) - This organization ensures full financial assistance for post-secondary scholarships for every child who loses a parent serving in Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps special operations. In addition to this, SOWF has a Family Services Team that provides academic and family counseling.


  • DAV - A leading nonprofit charity founded in 1920 that provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families. The organization helps more than a million veterans each year in positive, life-changing ways. The organization provides more than 700,000 rides for veterans attending medical appointments and has helped with over 300,000 benefits claims annually.


  • The American Indian College Fund helps Native students stay in school and earn a college degree. Helping a Native student get an education empowers one of the most underserved populations with regard to education.


  • Through computer training and job skills, COMPUTER CORE offers highly motivated, low-income individuals the opportunity to transform their careers and improve their lives.
