Carey McMillen, CPA
Ms. Carey McMillen has over 7 years of government contract accounting experience and over 3 years in public accounting. As the Accounting Manager for IGS, Ms. McMillen is an instrumental member of the IGS Administration team, developing and managing the accounting infrastructure.
Ms. McMillen manages all accounting related activities and oversees day-to-day accounting operations. This includes but is not limited to contract accounting, cash management, bookkeeping, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and employee benefit administration.
Prior to her role at IGS, Ms. McMillen worked with government contractors as an auditor and consultant, helping them remain DCAA compliant and meet Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Ms. McMillen is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech and a Master’s of Accounting (MAcc) degree from The College of William and Mary. She also holds Project Management and Resource Planning certificates through Unanet University.
