Claudine D. Beron, MB, PMP, Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Claudine Beron has more than 20 years of professional experience in healthcare at the provider system, state, and national levels. Her expertise ranges from development of prototype applications and solutions for clinical and exchange across levels, integration delivery of ancillary systems for Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR), strategy and feasibility planning for federal health systems, transition and product planning for clinical systems, health information exchange business planning, to electronic health record and component assessments and selections.
For over 20 years, Ms. Beron has supported the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) deploying, developing, enhancing, integration, and supporting solutions across all 21 VISNs. Prior to her role at IGS, Ms. Beron used her strong program management skills to manage complex projects and multiple subcontractors while at Fortune 100 companies with successful task order executions exceeding $100 million in revenue.
Ms. Beron holds a Master’s Degree in International Transactions from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Park University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMP instructor. Ms. Beron is a Member, Ad-hoc Executive Leadership Team Member, former Vice Chairman, and Co-Founder of the Federal Health Community at HIMSS. She is also the former Chairman of the VistA Software Alliance – a non-profit trade association for the promotion and support of all versions of VistA implementation outside the U.S. government. She is also a member of the Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel. Ms. Beron is a frequent lecturer on federal health IT subjects at George Washington University, George Mason University, and federal health forums.
