Honoring Our Veterans | Veterans Day 2025

This Veterans Day, we honor those who served and proudly recognize Clay Newby , a U.S. Army Veteran who served our nation for 10 years and has been supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs for 13+ years.

Today, Clay continues supporting the VA mission at Initiate Government Solutions (IGS), supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW) and VA Informatics and Computing Infrastructure (VINCI) environments. Clay's work supports the modernization and security of IT systems that power healthcare and research, improving the lives of Veterans nationwide. This effort delivers better visibility and higher availability across VA departments, leverages existing IT infrastructure investments, and provides scalable solutions for future state readiness in the IT space.

From designing enterprise-class backup and recovery solutions to strengthening data protection, optimizing system performance, and modernizing infrastructure, Clay ensures that the technology supporting Veterans is resilient, reliable, and ready for the future.
