IGS has received a prime award on a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA)/ Federal Acquisition Services (FAS) GSA/FAS Schedule Contract for IT Schedule 70 (GS-35F-139DA). IGS is proud to be a GSA IT 70 contract holder as it provides the ability to target contracts through all levels of the government, including: Federal, state, local, and tribal government. The FAS allows companies to offer governments innovative solutions and services across multiple areas including:
· Products and Services
· Motor Vehicle Management
· Procurement and Online Acquisition Tools
As a GSA IT Schedule 70 contract holder, IGS is able to offer our innovative healthcare solutions and IT services across all federal agencies ranging from Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the Department of Energy (DOE). With this award, IGS has proven that our prices are fair, reasonable, we have more than two years of past performance working with the government and as a company, and that IGS is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
The Government values the ability to use GSA contracts for purchasing as it cuts down on administrative costs, reduces bureaucracy and paperwork, and increases speed of obtaining goods and services. The IT Schedule 70 is one of GSA’s largest Schedule contracts. This contract can be renewed three times allowing for vendors to potentially have a 20-year contract.
While winning a GSA IT 70 schedule contract was a vigorous process within itself. IGS and other contract winners will still have to compete against other companies to market and win contracts from the schedule.
GSA offers a plethora of tools and assistance to succeed with the GSA contracts. These include training opportunities, e-Tools, and Market Information Resources and Tools. For more information please visit the GSA website at: GSA eLibrary IT Schedule 70
