IGS is awarded Health Information Technology (HIT) Services Special Item Number (SIN) 132-56. As healthcare has become an ever-increasing topic and area of government spending, General Services Administration (GSA), has released a new Schedule 70 HIT SIN that is dedicated to offering HIT services, software, and products to federal agencies. In 2015 alone, Federal Health IT spending reached $7.5 billion, quickly becoming a valuable marketplace for the federal government. The HIT SIN helps agencies procure Health IT services by clearly differentiating them from other IT related services currently under the GSA Schedule 70 program.
