IGS Sponsors Booth at AFCEA Summit
The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) established in 1946, is a non-profit membership association serving the military, government, industry, and academia as a forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, information technology, intelligence, and security. The Bethesda Chapter of AFCEA held its 11th Annual Health Information Technology (Health IT) Summit at the Bethesda Marriott from Jan 29 – 30, 2019. The event brought together more than 1,000 senior executives and IT professionals from across industry and government to explore strategies for leveraging modern IT technology and tactics to advance healthcare outcomes. Participants discussed new and emerging trends in digital services, artificial intelligence, automation, health analytics, and cybersecurity.
Initiate Government Solutions (IGS) was a sponsor at the summit with a booth to discuss our experience and capabilities within the Health IT arena. CEO Claudine Beron, Madeline Larkin, Christopher Rohe, Ellen Lengermann, Meghna Modi, and Riptapan Singh attended the summit and met with several prospective partners and clients during networking events.
In addition, IGS was a sponsor of the Jan 29th dinner during which IGS was prominently showcased. Claudine Beron introduced the keynote speaker for the dinner (Dr. Keita Franklin, Executive Director, Suicide Prevention, Department of Veterans Affairs).
